Maite, our brilliant Birth Recovery Specialist, is launching a new series of ‘Mama and Baby’ birth recovery classes which we can’t recommend highly enough. Please find some info below if of interest…
What’s covered in the sessions?
- Reconnect and strengthen your core and pelvic floor
- Realignment of your body after going through pregnancy, birth and looking after your baby
- Work on areas on your body which have become tight after picking up and feeding your baby, pushing prams and general heavy lifting!
How soon can I start the course?
You can start after you’ve had your 6-8 week GP check-up or 10-12 weeks after caesarean birth
When and where are the sessions?
The classes run every Wednesday at 10.30am for 6 weeks. The dates are:
- Wednesday 27 February
- Wednesday 6 March
- Wednesday 13 March
- Wednesday 20 March
- Wednesday 27 March
- Wednesday 3 April
The classes take place at The Hayloft Studio in the Frances Lundy School of Dance, 3 Bond Street, W4 1QZ. The Hayloft studio is located just off the High Road. There is a little path between Costa Coffee and Mint Velvet which takes you right to the studio. There is parking right outside and it's easily accessible with the pram.What do I need to do/bring?
Babies are welcome at all classes! You can stop the class to feed your baby, change nappies, etc. All you need to bring is a blanket for your baby and a mat for yourself. Please arrive 10 minutes early to your first class.

The 6-week course costs £90
